The Replace Types dialog appears when some of the types that you are importing have the same names as types that you have already defined in ExpertGPS. You have the option to replace your existing types with the new type definitions in the file or to add only the non-conflicting types to ExpertGPS.
- Replace
- Import all of the types from the file, overwriting any matching types that you previously created. Any file which uses one of these types will be displayed with the new settings. If your organization uses a common set of types, you might use this option to standardize map display on all computers.
- Add New
- Add only the non-conflicting types from the file to your copy of ExpertGPS, leaving the types you previously created unchanged.
- Cancel
- Cancel the command without importing any of the file's types.
- Help
- Show this help page.
