Print Map Dialog

Use the Print Map dialog to define an area of the map to print.

Print Scale: Enter the scale at which the map will be printed.
Print Setup: Click Print Setup to open the Print Setup dialog to change the printer or printing options.
Preview: Click Preview to open the Print Preview dialog to preview how the map will appear when printed.
Print: Click Print to print the map.
Check Edges: If the area to be printed is larger than the screen, you can use the eight outer Check Edges buttons to view the edges and corners of the print area. Click the center button to return to viewing the center of the area to be printed. Once you are satisfied with the position of the blue rectangle that marks the area to be printed, click Print.
Print Adjacent: You can print larger maps by "tiling" them. Print the first map, and then use one of the eight outer Print Adjacent buttons to move the blue rectangle to an adjacent location. Click the center button to center the blue rectangle on the center of the screen.
