Discard Geotag Location Command

The Discard Geotag Location command removes any geotag location currently associated with a photo.

To remove the geotagging information from a photo, do the following:

  1. Select one or more geotagged photos.
  2. Then, do one of the following:
    • Right-click on the photos, and click Discard Geotag Location.
    • On the Photo menu, click Discard Geotag Location.

The photo's text will be drawn in red in the Photo List, signifying that the photo does not have geotagging information associated with it.
