Hide Command

The Hide command removes the selected items from the list or map, but does not delete them. Use the Hide command to temporarily remove items from a map so that only the remaining items appear in the printed image, for example.

To hide an item, do the following:

  1. Select one or more items on the map or in a list
  2. Then, do one of the following:
    • On the Edit menu, click Hide.
    • Press Backspace.
    • Right-click on the selected item, and click Hide.

The selected items will be removed from the map or list.

To make the hidden items visible again, use the Show All Command.
