ExpertGPS 4.12 Automatically detect and repair problems with malformed Garmin GPX files. ExpertGPS 4.10 - July 16, 2010 Fixed error on startup of ExpertGPS 4.09 when Scanned Maps using Lambert or Albers projections have bad parameters. (ProjectionLambert, 107) Added better default parameters for scanned maps with Albers and Lambert projections. ExpertGPS 4.09 - July 16, 2010 ExpertGPS automatically parses addresses and phone numbers out of the Comment field, allowing you to transfer addresses from older Garmin nuvis to your new GPS. Fixed error when Transverse Mercator projections have bad parameters. Modified F2 editing so changes are preserved if you click away from the cell. (Press ESC to cancel changes.) ExpertGPS 4.08 - July 13, 2010 Fixed error on startup after queuing up many thousand map tiles for retrieval. Fixed error when Measure Track used on extremely long tracks. (MapView, 8652) Added additional import formats. ExpertGPS 4.07 - July 12, 2010 Fixed error when a scanned map that is still in use is removed from the Map Library. Fixed error when importing CSV data with incomplete rows. ExpertGPS now helps you out when you forget to check "Has Header Row" on CSV import. ExpertGPS now auto-generates waypoint/route/track names if you try to send unnamed data to a Garmin nuvi or other GPX-based GPS. ExpertGPS 4.06 - July 4, 2010 Added Garmin GPSMAP 62, 78 series Added OpenStreetMap imagery for entire world. Fixed display of lat/lon grids when viewing entire world. When you drag multiple files to ExpertGPS, or select multiple files in Open, ExpertGPS combines them (a la Import). Fixed error when opening multiple geocaching files. ExpertGPS 4.02 - June 22, 2010 Added Automatically Check for New Versions command to Help menu. Added ability to retrieve just the current tracklog, or all saved tracks. ExpertGPS 4.0 - June 15, 2010 Receive from Garmin GPX-based GPS receivers (nuvi, Colorado, Dakota, Oregon, etc) respects the checkmarks for Waypoints, Routes, and Tracks Improved memory usage for faster map drawing. Importing DXF Polylines preserves the Type field. ExpertGPS 3.99 - June 10, 2010 Fix crash when exporting tracks and shapes to SVG, Adobe Illustrator. Added approximate map tile count and acreage readout in Status pane to Retrieve Maps tool. Added ability to assign Track Name when import polygon and polyline shapefiles. All lists now display data in italics if the data was auto-generated by ExpertGPS from another data field. (Auto Track Name from Track Label, e.g.) You can use F2 editing to force auto-generated names into a column. Select a column of data in italics. Press F2, and Enter. Each waypoint/track/etc will have the auto-generated data put in that field. You can use this for batch-generating waypoint names from the Label field, for example. ExpertGPS 3.98 Shapefile import now handles unknown values for x,y coordinates and gaps between shapefile records. Added error message and recovery when you scroll too far off a scanned map. Added better error messages for malformed lat/lon coordinates. ExpertGPS can now parse additional variations of lat/lon coordinates. Improved Import Text dialog (now remembers number of coordinate columns, refreshes when changing delimiter). Fixed crash when exporting shapepoints to CSV. This was a significant change - please report any errors you encounter when switching or using maps. When switching back to the Scanned Map view, ExpertGPS now loads the last map without prompting you to select a map. You can now toggle between scanned, topo, and aerial without delays. ExpertGPS 3.90 Filter out "Garmin Europe", "Garmin Asia", and "Garmin (US)" waypoints - prevents the map from zooming WAY out.
