The View Online command shows information about the selected item in your Web browser.
For routes, tracks, and shapes, the View Online command is only available if the selected item has a link or photo associated with it. To add a link or photo to the selected item, edit the item.
For waypoints and notes that already have an associated link or photo, the View Online command will show that link or photo in your Web browser. If there is no link or photo associated with the waypoint or note, the View Online command will show the Waypoint Viewer at expertgps.com, which contains links to online mapping sites and resources that are near the selected waypoint.
